The trick-or-treaters this year are going to love the Kit Kats I have for them. This I know because I have sampled from the large bag. I think they will especially love the Halloween Kit Kats with the orange coating. Some may prefer the white chocolate Kit Kats. It's hard to know what the kiddies will go for. I think that further sampling on my part may settle the question once and for all. I hope the bag holds out long enough for me to form a proper opinion on the matter. I never did decide which of the two types of Nerds was best, the strawberry or the grape. I ran out before I could reach a conclusion. Too bad, because I bet the little ones would have loved them.

This is why candies for trick or treat are not purchased until a few hours before the event. For the circus fat woman would be the only costume for me if I bought halloween treats early.
I don't like to wait too long though, because the candy is cheaper if you buy it in August.
I made the mistake of buying two huge bags of candy from Sam's. I'll be surprised if it lasts through the weekend.
Sadly I gave up on giving out candy. In our area there are mostly immigrants and they don't understand that to get the free candy you have to dress up. Instead they just go from door to door ringing the doorbell and begging for candy. (ACCLIMATE KIDS... if you want the goods learn what the rules are!!!) For me no costume means no candy, so we no longer participate. Our doors will be closed and lights off again this year. (Extra depressing since this is my FAVORITE holiday.
